I am "somewhere in the middle of (my) life," * and it is a precious life indeed. I was born into a wonderful family, decades ago, and have the great gift of having an extraordinary partner, two beloved parents, three great brothers, deep friendships and work that I love. I am healthy after a journey through cancer, and that journey is the subject of my book of paintings: One Day I'll Wear a White Hat: A Dancer's Journey Through Cancer.* This is a line from a song my written by my brother Sam.
