|My Bio||Mary Husted grew up in Sussex, England after the war. She studied graphics in the early 60s, in Sussex and Germany, but dropped out to have children. She moved to Wales with her second husband and family in 1979. In the mid 80s she returned to study Fine Art in Cardiff, and since graduating in 1990 she has exhibited widely - in the UK, northern Europe, Canada, United States, Australia and Hong Kong, including many solo exhibitions. She is based in South Wales but has spent extended periods living and working in Australia and South East Asia. She has work in public and private collections in Europe, Australia, Canada and Hong Kong. Her work has been critiqued and written about in a range of publications in the UK and Australia and she has been featured in several national radio and television programmes. In the last few years she has spent more of her time writing and some excerpts have been published in anthologies. She is now in the process of writing a memoir.|
