About

Born and raised in Burma, was a member of Work Brigade to Nicaragua with the (Bay Area based) Nicaragua Center for Community Action; volunteered with Doctors for Global Health in El Salvador; was a Snyder Fellow at Lauterpacht Research Center for International Law- University of Cambridge (England); studied documentary film-making (audio/visual multimedia) in Brussels (Belgium); lived, worked, and studied in various countries; yet still firmly hold onto the view that my homeland - Burma - is the one country I want to live in among all the most beautiful countries I have been to in the world!

I study law, film, photography, and others. I lived, worked, and studied in many countries including in Europe and North & Central America. But, I am just an exile from Burma and a provisional traveler. I write poems and stories about the people I come across in life - both to appreciate and reflect. I live in the US part of the year and the other part of the year I live in Karen State.
