My photos are often of buildings—old ones, empty ones, beautiful ones, sad ones. I’m intrigued by the details in doorknobs, windows, paint flakes, stairways, fixtures and tools. My goal is to capture the energy of the place--to remind us that people lived their lives in these spaces. Teachers taught, children sang, preachers preached, we humans loved, lost, learned and celebrated. I don’t limit myself just to buildings, however, and will take pictures of anything that evokes feeling.

I would love for my photography to help remind us where we came from and who we should be.
