La Posada del Rio Sonora

Banámichi, Sonora, Mexico
About

La Posada del Rio Sonora is a boutique hotel/eco resort that is located in the center of Banámichi (about 135 miles South of the Border) and about mid-way of the scenic and historic Ruta del Rio Sonora, quite possibly one of Mexico's most scenic byways. The building is on the main square and the outermost rooms and walls may be over 300 years old. The hotel has nine rooms and suites and two full apartments for extended stays. We offer fine organic Sonoran cuisine as well as our own on-site Cantina (open only to guests). There are professional massage therapists, bicycle for rent, and local hot springs. We also offer group rates and special weekday discounts. This location is perfect for destination weddings, receptions, anniversary parties, family reunions, workshops, company retreats and more. We offer activites such as horseback riding, 4 x 4 River Tours, Church and Mission Tours as well as guided tours of local ranches including the Tepúa Bacanora Ranch/Distillery. Come visit us.
