Miko Colon is a photographer and writer based out of Atlantic City, NJ. He first got into photography in 2009 after getting his first DSLR. Since then he has worked with a number of different brands creating content like product and lifestyle photography. In addition to the services he offers under the name The Moon Beast, Miko is also a street photographer documenting everyday life in Atlantic City. Dark Waters is his first solo exhibition. This exhibit will be collection of black and white photos of Atlantic City. He also used this collection and formatted it into a book. In the book the photos are paired with his poetry. Miko currently lives and works in Atlantic City. Him and his partners run a streetwear boutique called Ocean 1 located inside the Arts Garage in Atlantic City’s new Art District.
