My ambition when I was a kid was to become a vet and get married and have kids, in that order. By the time I left school I had given up on the vet part so I drifted from job to job for many years. I did the other two though. I have a lovely wife (fifteen years married and still going strong) and four lovely children who are far from perfect but I would not swap them for all the atoms in the universe. I have spent the last twenty years trying to manoeuvre myself into a position where I can earn a residual income without spending any capital. This has not been easy and I am still a long way off, however I think I am taking a big step in the right direction right now. |

Well its all about personal taste isn't it. I have read three copies of "A short history of nearly everything" by Bill Bryson the first two copies wore out and fell to pieces! One of them was a hardback!! |
