Hi! I'm Rene Schlimm. Born and raised in the great state of NY, I have been living in beautiful Phoenix, AZ most of my adult life. I am married and the very proud mom of a bright and beautiful 10-year-old boy, Nick. I am also an actress and voiceover talent, and absolutely adore reading to and writing books for children, not to mention creating fun character voices! Dr. Seuss stories are some of my favorites! As a member of Arizona BookPALS (Performing Artists for Literacy in Schools), sponsored by the Screen Actor's Guild Foundation, I very much enjoy getting to know the various personalities of all the wonderful children with whom I am able to share my love of reading aloud.
