A lot of photographers believe that if you buy a better camera you will be able to take better photographs. Good equipment does of course come into play but it won't do a thing for you if you don't have an eye or vision, or an empty heart. In photography everything is ordinary; it takes a lot of looking before you can see something extraordinary. I've found that photography has little to do with what you see but with the way you see it.

I've had an interest in all art forms since childhood but discovered a passion for photography when a grade school teacher started a camera club in our school. I've been very fortunate to be able to combine my love of travel, wildlife and sport with photography to a point where now it has become a passion or an obsession depending on who you talk to. If it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing as far as I'm concerned.
