Biography
UuDam Nguyen
Born in KonTum, Vietnam in 1971
Education:
University of Fine Art, Saigon, Vietnam, 1990-1994
University of Califorinia, Los Angeles 1999-2001 - BA
School of Visual Art, 2003-2005 - MFA
UuDam Nguyen was born in an artist family. His dad is the painter, poet and writer Rung (Kinh Duong Vuong). He has study figurative sculpture for three years at the University of Fine Art in Saigon, Vietnam. After immigrating to the U.S., he attended U.C.L.A., and then attained his M.F.A. at the School of Visual Art in New York City.
He lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
