Yvonne Smits was born in the Netherlands in 1962. Her first camera was a birthday present when she was 6 years old. Photography is a real passion. Some of her photo's are published in photo magazines in The Netherlands. In 2008 one of her photos was shown at the Saatchi exhibition in Cannes during the Sony World Photography Awards. At this moment she has a fulltime job.Besides that she is a freelance photographer for a Dutch photobureau. She spends almost all of her free time photographing and traveling around the world. In the near future she is planning to make more books about her journeys to all continents. |
