Anushay is currently working at the World Bank Institute with the Urban and Local Government Program. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Studies from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and a Master of Arts Degree in International Affairs with a concentration in governance and human rights from The New School in New York City. Anushay has worked in Pakistan, Brazil, South Africa and has recently self-published a book based on her research in South Africa "Voices of the Youth in Alexandra Township: An Analysis" Anushay was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan. Her fieldwork also includes various projects and studies in Pakistan on issues such as women's rights, youth participation, textile and apparel industries, etc. Anushay is fluent in English, Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi; with very basic knowledge of Arabic and Portuguese. |
