Kris Friend is at work on her second novel, and leads writing workshops for women at Pen, Paper & Prose in Wilmington, NC. Kris writes for The Southport Times and also her “featherblues53” and “agardenfriend” blogs at Wordpress.com. She designs landscapes and therapy gardens at the beach where she lives with her daughter, pets and photographing as many vibrant flowers and kites as possible.
