Born and raised in the Chicago area has given me a solid set of Midwestern values and an eye for the crazy in all of us. I am married to my best friend and we are currently raising two children as best we can. After high school I earned a degree in Fine Arts at the Atlanta College of Art (a museum school associated with the HIgh Museum of Art) and fell in love with the south. However entranced I was by this culture and history I yearned to get back to my roots and family and moved back to Chicago where I plan to stay.
I have two blogs; allkindsofcrazy.wordpress.com in which I share my views and life on things that no one speaks outloud and allkindsofreality.wordpress.com in which you can see my point of view from the lens of my camera.
|Spoiler alert: I'm thinking my next book will be about...|
|The historic buildings in and around St. Charles Illinois.|
|Everyone needs to know about these authors and artists...|
Jennifer Lancaster, Laurie Notaro and Cellia Rivenbark are my kindred spritis. They say it like they mean it. These authors are best savored alone, with a good cup of coffee (or tea), curled up in a comfy chair on a dreadfully dreary day.|
NOTE; don't read Laurie Notaro in a public place like an airport/airplane, bus, subway train or the local swimming pool as she leads to all out bursts of uncontrolable laughter that can't be shut off easily.
