i have been a professional photographer since the early 70's, and have enjoyed several different focuses for my work over that time.
i am now a flower photographer with much emphasis placed on the rose. I use only natural light and use back-lighting quite extensively. but it is always the sun, usually late afternoon, which works best and gives the best results for the type of work i like to do . there are no words with the images in my books, as i like to think the images tell their own stories, and that the stories vary depending on who is viewing them.
I currently use a selection of Nikons . my favorite lens to work with are either a 105 or a 60 Macro.
