Valerie Gaer Sandler is a poet, musician, motivational speaker and is the author of 12 books. She is the principal owner of Sight Perceptions. A graduate of New England Conservatory of Music in Boston with a Master's degree in music education research, her thesis focused on literacy, language and learning for the blind student enrolled in postsecondary music schools in the US.
