Katherine has studied under many great artists. She has organized, directed and hung several art exhibitions through the years. For over thirty five years she has owned and operated picture framing shops and galleries.
Katherine's work hangs in banks, hospitals, restaurants, schools, corporations and museums. Recently her work has been placed in the permanent collection at The White House.
As an artist, she focuses on the philosophical aspect of life. Concentrating on human rights and women's rights in her art.
Katherine's "word paintings" allow the visual appeal of the painting to draw the spectator in, while using words to inspire thought, keeping the viewer involved and intimate for a longer period of time.
Katherine's aspirations have been to leave behind something of visual and psychological worth to society.
