My Bio Yata McElrath, a graduate of ITT Technical Institute never imaged he would be a writer but came to the conclusion that everyone has a book in them. They just have to educate themselves on getting it from their mind, to paper and then to others. Yata quickly realized, he could touch and inspire people with his words and began writing in 2001. He has received numerous writing awards. Starting with The Editor's Choice Award for Outstanding Achievement in Poetry Presented by poetry.com and the International Library of Poetry and has poetry published in a poetry compilation called A Surrender To The Moon. "I write for the same reason I breathe; because if I didn't I would die." by Isaac Asimon, are the words that Yata's thoughts and words live by. Yata truly has a heart for inspiring and encouraging all people of this world. Yata believes his words are gifts that must be unwrapped by all people because he writes with all people in mind.
