Dubbed “The custom playhouse maker we like best” by the Wall Street Journal, Barbara Butler has scores of fans that follow her spectacular and creative portfolio of treehouses and play structures for children. For over 25 years, Butler has combined childhood fantasies with architectural know-how to create a world of backyard enchantment.

Her career started in 1987 when singer Bobby McFerrin and his wife requested a play structure for their two children. This play structure was the start of a new career for Butler, combining all of her loves: art, wood, design, children and outdoors. Today, Butler’s company designs, builds, delivers & installs custom play structures and treehouses around the world (over 500 to date).

Butler’s prestigious client list also includes Robert Redford, Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith, Kevin Kline & Phoebe Cates, Dreamworks & Walt Disney. Butler’s designs have been featured on Oprah, HGTV, CBS Early Show and House Beautiful TV.
