I was given a camera in my freshman year of college and I've been hooked ever since. While it's not my profession, it's clearly my obsession :) Digital SLR's finally brought the feedback to the photographic process that I needed to improve, and were a match to my technical interests. Nothing I've ever photographed on film is worth looking at, but with digital photography I'm finally able to capture and share what I see.
