Bob teaches digital photography and consults with leading photographers on image archiving systems. He teaches extensively at field workshops in Alaska, Wyoming, Colorado, and other locations each year. Bob's focus is wildlife and nature photography, particularly animals portrayed in their environment. An advocate of conservation, Bob's work includes endangered species and wildlife management issues. Bob spends significant time in the field each week searching for those elusive moments of wildlife behavior and the struggle to survive in the wild. His images attempt to capture the light and gesture of the natural world. His new book, Alaska to the Arctic, highlights bears, eagles, and other wildlife found in southeast Alaska, Lake Clark National Park, Denali National Park, Manitoba Canada, and the archipelago of Svalbard in the high Arctic.
