Robert E. Vardeman is the author of more than one hundred novels and scores of widely acclaimed short stories. While science fiction and fantasy are his favorite genres, he has also written extensively in the Western field under his pen name "Karl Lassiter."

His most recent title is the co-authored God of War novelization of the Sony PlayStation videogame. A new sci-fi short story can be found in the anthology, Timeshares. Other works appear on the Kindle store and as iTunes book apps.
