20 years in the Australian Navy, 4 years flying offshore and rescue choppers, then 11 years in the Australian Air Force. The latter mostly flying the venerable and mighty P-3 'Orion'. I've used too many of my 9 lives and have dome more in this life than I had any right to expect...with much more to come! Did I mention I'm an identical twin and felt it when my brother cut off his finger? What a stupid thing to do! I love life, people, sport, red wine, travel, doggies and cats...and my crazy South American wife, Griselda! She keeps me young and (in)sane... |
