Born Deaf and raised in the Upper Midwest of the US, ever since picking up his first analog 35mm camera in early 1980's. In around mid-1990's, he switched to his first digital camera and didn't look back. Digital photography has become the perfect outlet for for his creative expression; it affords him the opportunity to show the world precisely how he views it. In essence, it was his revelation. His pictures are being captured by his discriminating, discerning "Deaf eyes" perspective into the most beautiful world.
On a final note, Brian finds it intriguing and compelling that photography reflects the Deaf perspective to everyone. Besides being more "visualization" without sound, articulately silence, the images itself speak for themselves.
