C. Carlyle Rood, RLA, LEED AP, is a software developer and licensed landscape architect living in Marietta, Georgia. He is twice a graduate of the University of Georgia, earning degrees in Business Administration (1992) and Landscape Architecture (2004).

As a software developer, Mr. Rood primarily designs and develops applications for digital signage and for the Internet. Most notably, he helped design and construct the joint website for CNN and Sports Illustrated. His experience and expertise in computer graphics give him a unique perspective into its applications to landscape architecture.
