My Bio I retired in 2008 after a thirty year career and now have time to do the things I've been wanting to do; play. My husband and I have two furkids, three grown children between us and three grandchildren. We were fortunate to find each and look forward to living out our days together. Life is good.

Writing has been a favorite past time of mine since I was in elementary school. I began to explore writing poetry when I was just nine years old. Playing with words was fun. It wasn't until I was an adult that I realized the power of the written word, to express, entertain, and heal.

Things I Don't Mind The World Knowing

Spoiler alert: I'm thinking my next book will be about...
my Mother's family. It will be based upon letters written from my Uncle Tom serving in Italy in WWII to his brother John who was left tending the farm at home. The letters end abruptly and offer a glimpse into the man Tom Gargett was.
This book is addictive. Read it. (At your own risk.)
