Darice Ragan is a breeder of Rat Terriers and American Hairless Terriers. She has produced and campaigned numerous dogs to Champion and Grand Champion titles; several being Top Ten Terriers in the United States. In addition, several of her dogs have won Best in Show, Best in Multi-Breed Show, Reserve Best in Show, Reserve Best in Multi-Breed Show, Westminster honors, Eukanuba honors, Dock Diving, Terrier Racing, Lure Coursing, Agility, Rally, Obedience and other performance titles.

Darice has exhibited dogs in the AKC and UKC show rings and can also be found in the ring as a United Kennel Club conformation Judge. Her natural eye, lifelong experiences and self obtained knowledge of animals is paramount.

The author resides near the Great Smoky Mountains of eastern Tennessee with her husband, dogs and horses.
