My father was my inspiration in photography. We had a darkroom supply house and a gallery way back in the 70s. My degree is in graphic design, and though I worked as a graphic designer for 20 years, my dream was always to be a portrait artist. 10 years ago, after staffing changes occurred within my workplace, I picked up the camera again, and started doing corporate portraits. I have since expanded into creating personal digital paintings. I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America and was awarded the CPP (Certified Professional Photographer) October, 2007.
