Sue McGovern-Huffman, President of Sands of Time Antiquities, is an independent appraiser, art dealer, lecturer, writer and consultant, specializing in ancient cultures. Born in Sydney, Australia she has been involved in ancient art, specializing in Greek, Roman, Egyptian, and Holy Land antiquities since 1975.

Sue owns and operates the ancient art gallery, Sands of Time Antiquities, located in the historic district of Georgetown, in Washington DC. Representing more than 6,000 years of human existence, Sands of Time offers a range of art carefully selected not only for its historical importance, but for its intrinsic beauty and artistic value.

Sue is a member Appraiser with a specialty in Ancient Art with the International Society of Appraisers, an international multi-disciplinary certifying and accrediting organization. She is also a member of good standing with the Archaeological Institute of America, the American Research Center in Egypt, and The American Numismatic Society
