Dean Ignacio graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned his B.A. in the History of Art. During his time at Berkeley, he worked as a photojournalist for the Daily Californian. A freelance photographer and aspiring artist, Dean's work has been featured and exhibited in San Francisco, Berkeley, Atlanta and most recently, in Provincetown, where he worked as a photographer's assistant to his mentor, Brad Fowler. Prior to "The Promised Land," Dean released his first picture book: "The Saint Francis Anthology": a most curious picture book that showcased the eccentric local color of San Francisco.
