8 years ago I started taking photos with point and shoot cameras and the pics were coming out just....ok. The only formal training and technical knowledge I had was film development classes at Pope Air Base NC. The dark room became home, but I was enjoying what I was doing. I was playing with a band and taking so many shots traveling on the road that I decided to give it a real go. I purchased a digital SLR because I knew I could make these images stand out better. I started taking classes under "James Beltz" at BC Photography with references from "Blair Phillips Photography and Amy Ruchte" at Emory Lane Photography" on lens and lighting. I have always been confident about my ability to create and capture.. I love the challenge and can't see doing anything else. Switching from film to digital gives me more creativity although film is still a beautiful medium. Everything God has created has a story and most can be put in a photograpic image.
