Forrest Hill is from the fourth generation of farmers that arrived in Decatur GA in the late 1800's. He spent 15 years researching, compiling and writing "Paradise in Olde Decatur." He spent countless hours interviewing people as old as 104 years and collecting their stories and pictures. His book describes old time farm life and hardships, but also covers a multitude of other subjects. Folks that have read his book say they absolutely could not put it down. In fact, some had to order an additional copy because someone else picked it up and had the same response!
