Someone told me once that great competency and wisdom comes from lived experience. When reflecting on where I am today, I believe my patience, persistence and an unwavering love for photography have been the recipe for success. Working as a backup photographer for 4+ years helped expose me to the expansive and collaborative industry backing this field. I attended vendor blenders, helped setup at local bridal shows, familiarized myself with current trends and looked at how these opportunities would play an instrumental role in forming the foundation of Four Wings Photography. With this exhausting, ego deflating and time consuming foundation came the understanding that not only could I meet the challenges of running my own creative business, I could do it with uncompromising confidence. I was taught to look to my fellow wedding professionals as allies with a goal of solidifying the industry.
