My name Gabe DeWitt, and I am a visual artist and a civil engineer from Preston County, West Virginia. My avenues for discovery are photography, paintings, and drawings that focus on fractal geometry and the complex forms that exist in nature. In my paintings and drawings I focus my thoughts more on the paths objects follow through time, more than rendering their physical form. It is these paths, and the patterns formed from their intersection that I find most beautiful. With my photography, I try to show this changing nature of all things through time lapse photos and abstracting the angles of perception.
