My Occupation Retired Special Education Teacher
My Bio I am a retired special education teacher. I have been taking photographs since childhood. My parents were avid photographers, so I guess I came by it naturally. Using a digital camera allows me to take as many pictures as I like and then select the best. Closeups are my favorite shots.

I have been doing computer generated photo scrapbooks to document trips, my dogs, and special occasions for years. After being urged by my friends, I finally decided to do a book. I know that I will do others in the future. I like the creative experience that it affords.

Things I Don't Mind The World Knowing

Spoiler alert: I'm thinking my next book will be about...
I am planning my next book to be a photographic journey through the Big Cypress National Preserve Area adjoining the Everglades National Park. I also plan to do one on favorite places in Key West. The different types of houses, architecture styles and gingerbread trim make great photographs.
This book is addictive. Read it. (At your own risk.)
I have been facinated with the Everglades. Since my retirement, I have spent time each winter hiking and photographing alligators, birds, flowers, and scenery in the various Everglades National Park sites. It is such a one of a kind place. I hope that readers of my book will gain a better understanding of the area. So many different plants and animals make this their home. It must be preserved for future generations to enjoy.
