Growing up in San Francisco and teaching there, mostly at Mission High School, were exciting days for me. To engage students of a wide range of personalities and interests in writing and in discussions of literature proved very enjoyable for the 35 years I taught. In addition, I spent one year as a Fulbright teacher in Japan.
Now retired, my wife and I have taken many trips to other countries with Oversea Adventure Travel. Photography and writing poetry also captivate much of my time.
