Nancy is a retired first grade teacher, behavior consultant, and reading specialist. Following retirement she worked as a developmental therapist for Illinois' Early Intervention Program, as well as, an appraiser for the Illinois Training Network. Presently, she facilitates parent/child playgroups for a local park district and offers parent coaching through Kiddo Connections, a group that helps parents connect with their children while their children connect with the world. She has given numerous workshops for parents and professionals and is co-author of The Choice Curriculum, a guide for raising responsible children.
