About Gray Malin

Growing up in Dallas, Texas, he knew he one day had to get out. Gray moved to Boston for college and fell in love with cinematography, eventually landing a job in Los Angeles. It took a year of chaos behind a desk on the Paramount lot to allow him to really understand what he loved most about film; imagery.

Since 2009 he has been building a career in photography by selling his work every Sunday in a small local flea market at the corner of Melrose and Fairfax in West Hollywood. He has met wonderful people in the vast city of Los Angeles and now has his work hanging in a gallery in Beverly Hills and in many showrooms across Los Angeles.


His photography has varied over time, but recently he has been creating bodies of work that tell a story. Gray loves the idea of something being timeless and elegant while also being intriguing. He wants the viewers mind to wander in questions that may never have an answer.
