Sam's current interests are Legos, architecture and escalators. He searches for obscure videos of his interest on YouTube and is learning to make his own videos. He is home-schooled, along with his little brother and sister. His mom has dedicated her life to helping Sam combat and deal with his autism. Sam is a visual learner and has a photographic memory.
Sam has been interested in photography since he was eight years old. Other collections of his photographs will include scenes from the third row - photos through the car window from his seat in the back; and Sodas - graphic images of all sorts of drinks.

Sam has autism. He was a typical baby but lost his vocabulary and smile when he was 15 months old and received 7 vaccinations at a "well baby" doctor's visit. He began developmental preschool when he was two. His best results have come from alternative therapies and a strict diet of no wheat, gluten or dairy. That's a pain, but it's worth it.
Through much work, Sam is a happy kid who loves taking pictures. |
