Vanessa Hazelton graduated from Florida State
University with a degree in Communication Arts and
has worked as a commercial artist for various
corporations. She fell in love with the pastel media
because of its rich colors and the tactile nature in
which one can create a painting.
Residing in Cape Coral, Florida, Vanessa’s
inspiration comes from the abundant natural
environment of the area, where she interprets
landscapes, beachscapes and animals in stunning
pastels.
