Laura Henderson lives in a little house, in a quiet neighborhood surrounded on every side by her not-so-quiet children. She's not exactly sure how she found time to write her book, though ignoring the laundry was helpful. Over the years, the happy, bustling children succeeded in imploring their mother to tell dozens of Knookerdoodle stories until one day her 6 year old son said wistfully, "Wouldn't it be great if we invented Knookerdoodles?" To his utter shock, his mother said, "We did." Thus began the beginning of writing one story down.
