Photography has been a lifelong passion. My parents gave me a Boy Scout camera when I was 10 or 11 and the thrill of creating images started. At times I would stray away from my camera but I always came back.

I enjoy many different photographic disciplines. Nature/natural history, scenic, sports, architecture, fine art nude, portrait and recently fantasy. All of the disciplines have different challenges and all are satisfying.

Three years ago I decided to turn my passion into a business. The work has been fun a rewarding. I know I have done my job when a portrait client gets choked up over their photographs. I really enjoy working with high school juniors and seniors to create senior portraits that embody their hopes and dreams.

I think what it really comes down to is that photography is the only thing I am good at that satisfies my creative drive. I can't draw, paint or sing. Only through photography have I found creative satisfaction.
