About My Business
|
I am a professional artist specializing in Fine Art Oil Portraits on canvas. I work with clients for their special commissioned paintings. I have been painting portraits since the 5th grade, have been in the business since 1975, and became Incorporated in 1997.
My commissioned portraits include children, families and corporate leaders. The corporate portraits include sixteen hanging on the campus of East Carolina University, four CEO's of the Minges Pepsi Bottling Company, and Judges in five court houses.

Areas of Expertise

In painting portraits my goal is to create a work of art as well as a likeness of my client. I especially want to project the personality of subjects through their body language and or their surroundings. My favorite tool in my paintings is lighting. Light creates form as well as an atmospheric drama.
