About My Business
|
I was born in The Netherlands, and received my training at Academie St. Joost in Breda.
After working in The MIT Press design department as a senior designer, I started my own design business in 1996. I continue to work for the MIT Press and many other publishing houses on the East coast, among which Brill Academic Publishing, Oxford University Press, and Taunton Press.
In addition I have designed a variety of books for individuals. All of them with the desire to get their work in stores and people's hands on their own terms.
My design received many awards from The Association of American University Presses. I won a a bronze medal in the Leipzig International Book Competition, and Best of Category in The New England Book Show. My books have appeared in Print and can be found in the AIGA archives.
