Jamil-Kareem Jones is an African American Photographer and Professional Photojournalist (By Trade). Jamil was born and raised in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and after honorably completing his service in the US Army as a combat medic. He relocated his family to a quite New Orleans suburb.

Growing up in single parent house hold in inner-city Philadelphia, Jamil-Kareem was introduced to photography by a mentor and a long time family friend (The Late Theodore Moody) and shown how to use photography as a way of self expression.
Since this time Jamil-Kareem has developed a passion for the Documentography and Fine Arts aspects as photography. Along with his music (Which Jamil-Kareem is a also a professional Guitar Player) He uses his photography as a form as self expression.
