jack androvich is a fine art photographer based in san francisco.

as an admirer of a long line of innovative photographers from eugene atget to robert frank, minor white, ansel adams, dorothea lange and others, i seek to capture a view of the world that is just a few degrees off of “normal,” whatever that is.

whether it's an abstract, architectural or other type of subject, my photos invite you to take away a highly personal view or interpretation of each particular image. and, many images provoke curiosity, wonder and spirited discussion about what they are and what they might represent.

aside from simple cropping, contrast adjustments and in some cases a simple spot retouching, all of my photos are otherwise unaltered .

there are no double exposures or digital trickery. in the end, what i see is what you get.
