I learnt how to cook from my parents at a very young age. Some of my favourite memories are sitting around a dinner table, especially the eating part! I am not a professional chef, but I am obsessed with cooking shows and I cook everyday for my own family now. This book was created shortly after the protests in the Middle East began in the Summer of 2011. I was so saddened by the violence occuring, specifically to women, that I knew I had to help somehow. I will give away a portion of the proceeds to help advocate and empower not just the women in the Middle East but also in my own country, Canada, where violent crimes against Indo-Canadian women has also risen. I believe there is always hope in every situation, Jesus can transform any life, society, country and I will serve him all my days.
