| My Bio | I've been a photographer since I got my first camera (a Polaroid "Swinger") for my 10th birthday. Moved up to an Instamatic and then learned to use a 35mm SLR--my dad's vintage Zeiss Ikon Contaflex--in high school. I still treasure my final 35mm Nikon F2 and just got my first digital SLR this winter (Nikon D700); I also shoot with a Canon G9, and recently replaced my battered Rolleicord with a Mamiya C330. I make a lot of Holga images and am a new iPhone user who has fallen in love with Instagrams. In short: everything and anything. Oh--and I teach photography full time at an independent school, where I also serve as junior class dean and sponsor the yearbook. Favorite subjects include my family, the landscape, road trips, and theater productions. |
