Kate has been trying for years to get her Dad to recount his experiences during WWII. Finally, agreeing that his own years were stacking up, Gene taped a chronology of his assignments and shared his box of memorabilia and photos. Combined with period photos gleaned from Google, the tale is now told--for children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
