I have loved to write for my entire life, but I chose to be an Accountant instead. Now I have to divide my time between writing books and balancing them. I grew up in Fernie, British Columbia and now live in Red Deer, Alberta, working as a Financial Analyst and writing fantasy books in my spare time. When I'm not doing those things, I am going on bike rides, attending comic book conventions, and preparing other people's tax returns.
